1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to UNOAH. UNOAH is a faith-based digital platform designed to help followers of Jesus Christ deepen their spiritual lives through prayer, devotionals, community, Scripture-rooted guided meditation, and Christian content (collectively, the “Service”). UNOAH is operated by UNOAH Inc. (“UNOAH”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), with a mission to create a personal, connected, and life-giving digital space for spiritual growth.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and UNOAH Inc. governing your access to and use of the UNOAH mobile application, the website at www.unoah.com, and all related services, features, and content. These Terms are intended to comply with the laws of the countries in which UNOAH operates, including India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and the other South Asian and Middle Eastern jurisdictions listed above.
1.1 Eligibility
To register for UNOAH, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old. In India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), a person below 18 is considered a child, and verifiable parental or guardian consent is required before personal data may be processed.
- In Middle Eastern jurisdictions, be of legal age as defined by the laws of your country of residence (generally 18 years).
- Not be prohibited by any applicable law from using the Service.
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete registration information.
- If you register on behalf of a minor where permitted, you confirm that you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian and that you accept these Terms on the minor’s behalf.
1.2 Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent in-app notice at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect. Continued use of UNOAH after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with an update, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account before the effective date.
2. Account Registration & Security
When you register for UNOAH, you agree to:
- Provide your legal name, a valid email address, and any other required information accurately and truthfully.
- Keep your registration information current and updated.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials (email, password, and any social sign-in tokens).
- Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- Notify UNOAH immediately at hello@unoah.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
UNOAH reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or pose a risk to other users or to the security, integrity, or operation of the platform.
3. Faith Mission & Community Standards
UNOAH is a Christian faith platform. All content, features, and community interactions on UNOAH are designed to reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ and to encourage spiritual growth, compassion, and biblical truth. UNOAH operates as an open and voluntary faith community; participation is entirely by user choice. UNOAH respects the laws and cultural values of every country in which it operates, including the diverse religious landscapes of South Asia and the Middle East.
3.1 Community Standards
All users agree to engage with content and other users in a manner consistent with Christian values — with love, respect, grace, and truth — and specifically agree to refrain from posting hateful, abusive, sexually explicit, or violent content; to respect the diversity of Christian traditions; to refrain from promoting ideologies that contradict the platform’s Christian foundation; and to comply with the laws of their home country regarding digital communications and online content.
3.2 User-Generated Content
Where UNOAH allows you to submit prayer requests, community posts, testimonies, comments, or similar materials (“User Content”), you retain ownership of your User Content. You grant UNOAH a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service. You represent that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable local law.
3.3 Moderation
UNOAH reserves the right to review, moderate, remove, or restrict any User Content or user account that we determine violates these Terms, our community standards, or any applicable local law, without prior notice where necessary to protect users, the Service, or legal compliance.
4. Paid Subscription Plans & Payment Terms
UNOAH offers both free and paid subscription tiers. This section applies to paid subscribers. UNOAH currently offers a Monthly Plan (billed every 30 days), an Annual Plan (billed once per year at a discounted rate), and a Family Plan where available. Current plan pricing is displayed in the app and on www.unoah.com at the time of purchase, in your local currency, inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
Free trial. UNOAH may offer a free trial for new subscribers. At the end of the trial, your selected subscription will automatically activate and your payment method will be charged unless you cancel before the trial expires.
Billing & automatic renewal. By subscribing, you authorise UNOAH or its payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current fee plus applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Payment methods. Depending on region, UNOAH accepts UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets (via Razorpay, PayU, or equivalent gateways) in India; cards, Apple Pay, and regional gateways such as PayTabs or Telr in the UAE/KSA/GCC; and the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Payments through Apple or Google are also subject to those platforms’ billing and refund terms. UNOAH does not store your full payment card details; these are handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors.
Price changes & taxes. UNOAH will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase. Subscription fees may be subject to GST (India), VAT at 5% (UAE), VAT at 15% (KSA), and applicable local taxes elsewhere. The price displayed at checkout reflects the total payable, inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the UNOAH app settings, your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings, or by contacting hello@unoah.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain premium access until then. For Annual Plans, no pro-rata refunds are issued for unused months except where required by applicable law.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. UNOAH will consider refund requests where a technical error caused a duplicate or incorrect charge, where a charge was processed after a timely cancellation due to UNOAH’s error, or where a refund is required by mandatory consumer protection law (including India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019; UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020; and applicable Saudi consumer laws). Refund requests must be submitted to billing@unoah.com within fourteen (14) days of the charge. Where a subscription was purchased through Apple or Google, refund requests must be directed to those platforms. If UNOAH terminates your subscription for reasons not attributable to your breach, UNOAH will provide a pro-rata refund for any prepaid unused portion where required by applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
The UNOAH application, website, brand name, logo, and all platform-provided content — including audio recordings, devotionals, guided prayers, Scripture readings, music, artwork, and written material (“UNOAH Content”) — are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws, owned by or licensed to UNOAH Inc. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, UNOAH grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access UNOAH Content for your own private, non-commercial spiritual use. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer, remove proprietary notices from, or commercially exploit UNOAH Content without express written permission.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree that you will not use UNOAH to:
- Impersonate any person, entity, pastor, ministry, or religious leader.
- Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users.
- Upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to harm the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to UNOAH systems, accounts, or data — a criminal offence under India’s Information Technology Act, 2000, the UAE Cybercrime Law, and the KSA Anti-Cyber Crime Law.
- Engage in commercial solicitation, spam, chain messages, or MLM.
- Collect or scrape personal data of other users without consent.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Service.
- Share content that defames, insults, wounds religious feelings, or provokes religious discord, including conduct prohibited under applicable local law.
- Use UNOAH for unlawful religious solicitation, political mobilisation, or any activity that violates local restrictions on religious expression, online speech, public order, or digital communications.
- Share your account credentials with others.
8. Privacy & Personal Data Protection
UNOAH takes your privacy seriously. Our full Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Where consent is required by applicable law, UNOAH will seek consent through appropriate notices and affirmative user action.
India (DPDP Act & IT Act). UNOAH processes personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the DPDP Rules, 2025, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. You have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to nominate an individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. UNOAH will respond to rights requests and privacy grievances within the timelines required by applicable law and, where no shorter mandatory period applies, within ninety (90) days. We do not sell your personal data.
Other jurisdictions. For users in the UAE, UNOAH complies with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (UAE PDPL); in the KSA, with the Personal Data Protection Law overseen by SDAIA; and in other GCC and South Asian countries, with applicable national law (applying the UAE PDPL or India’s DPDP Act as a baseline where no comprehensive framework exists).
Children’s data. In all covered jurisdictions, UNOAH treats any user under 18 as a child and does not knowingly process a child’s personal data without verifiable parental or guardian consent. UNOAH does not engage in tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising of children. Contact privacy@unoah.com if you believe we have inadvertently processed a child’s data.
India grievance redressal. UNOAH will designate and publish India grievance-redressal contact details before public launch. Users in India may contact grievance-india@unoah.com to exercise applicable rights, and may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India or the applicable consumer authority where available.
9. Disclaimers
UNOAH provides spiritual encouragement, devotional content, and community support. UNOAH Content is not a substitute for professional pastoral counselling, mental health therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or any other professional service. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency service immediately. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. UNOAH presents Christian content reflecting a broad evangelical perspective and does not endorse any specific denomination.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UNOAH Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages. In no event shall UNOAH’s total aggregate liability exceed the greater of (a) the total subscription fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 5,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency). Nothing limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UNOAH Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
12. Third-Party Links & Integrated Services
UNOAH may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, or services. These are provided for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement. We do not control and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party service.
13. Consumer Protection Compliance
UNOAH complies with the consumer protection laws of every jurisdiction in which it operates, including India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and E-Commerce Rules, 2020; UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 and the E-Commerce Law; and applicable Saudi consumer and e-commerce laws. Our legal name, registered address, contact information, subscription terms, and grievance contact will be disclosed clearly before purchase and before public launch. Indian users may approach the NCDRC or the applicable State Commission if a dispute cannot be resolved internally.
14. Term & Termination
These Terms take effect when you first access or register for UNOAH and remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. UNOAH may terminate or suspend access for breach, suspected fraud, or other cause at its sole reasonable discretion. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, consumer rights, and governing law — continue to apply.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to your country of residence at the time of registration (India; the UAE; the KSA; or other applicable South Asian jurisdictions). Before any formal proceeding, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution for 30 days by contacting hello@unoah.com. For India, unresolved disputes are referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Bengaluru. For the UAE and GCC, disputes may be referred to the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), seated in Dubai. For the KSA, disputes are resolved under Saudi law, potentially via the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA). To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes are resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class or collective action.
16. Language & Accessibility
These Terms are made available in English. Where required by applicable local law, UNOAH will provide translations of key notices. If there is any inconsistency between the English version and a translation, the English version prevails except where local law requires otherwise. Contact hello@unoah.com for an alternative language or accessible format.
17. General Provisions
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and UNOAH and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision is held invalid, it will be modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue in full force. UNOAH’s failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights without UNOAH’s consent; UNOAH may assign its rights, including in a merger or acquisition. UNOAH is not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. By registering, you consent to receive communications electronically via email, push notifications, or in-app messages.
